Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Hamilton Church of Christ to help others in becoming fully devoted
followers of Jesus Christ. The Hamilton Church of Christ does this by encouraging a deeper and
intimate relationship with God. We also do this by developing community within the church and
exercising our influence outside the church.
Core Values
Real Biblical Authority:

We believe the bible to be the ultimate authority and the means by which life change occurs.
It is only through understanding God's Word and applying that knowledge to our lives that we
are truly transformed.
2 Timothy 3:16

Real Relationship With God:

Our lives change as we pursue a deeper more intimate relationship with God. This is commonly
called worship and can be experienced personally and corporately. We believe a real
relationship with God manifests itself in a life of worship.
Romans 5:8; Revelation 3:20

Real Relationships With Others:

Our lives can be transformed as we experience real relationships with others. This is often
called community. Spiritual growth and transformation occurs as we encounter God through
other people.
1 Thessalonians 5:11,14; Galatians 6:2

Real Evangelism:

True transformation will occur in people's lives as we share the love and forgiveness God
offers in a personal way. We believe the best way for evangelism to occur is through
relationships.
Luke 15; Matthew 28

Real Outreach:

At the Hamilton Church of Christ we believe in real outreach through service by using spiritual
giftedness. This involves placing ourselves in a position to assist others in drawing closer to
God.
1 Peter 4:10; Romans 12:4-8
